Garage roof — Newburn

A standard-size attached garage - and a good example of us not doing work that doesn't need doing. A full inspection found no rotten joists and no structural issues, so we didn't strip the old roof: the overlay method was the most effective route here. We built a new SmartPly deck over the existing covering, correcting the fall so it drains properly to the gutters, then covered it in EPDM RubberCover, sealed and flashed the internal drain and soil pipe details, and finished with uPVC edge and gutter trims. This garage joins directly onto the neighbour's - very common, and no problem at all: we create a clean line of separation that secures your roof with no effect on next door. We've also did this customer's kitchen extension as a full replacement warm deck, and two bay windows.
